My professional life encompasses two distinct aspects. On one hand, I work as a graphic designer for clients. On the other, I actively engage in personal projects, showcasing my work in solo exhibitions, participating in group exhibitions, and engaging in various art projects.
Over the past few years, I have also expanded my role to include curating group exhibitions and organizing art-related events, such as seminars and workshops. Below is a selection highlighting these diverse activities.
"Green & Blue Sundays"
Solo Watercolor Exhibition,
This exhibition showcased a series of my paintings focused on Cyprus landscapes. The display was held in the Exhibition Hall of the Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design at Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus in October 2023.
Illustrated T-shirts for Children's Rights
On November 19th, 2022, I curated an event for International Children's Rights Day, involving 13 global artists who created T-shirt illustrations. Hosted at the Rustem Bookshop and Art Gallery in Nicosia, Cyprus, and attended by notable guests including the mayor of Nicosia, the event featured a T-shirt sale to benefit the Child Right Association in Cyprus, supporting children's rights initiatives.
"Amber - The Gold of Baltic Sea"
Amber the gold of Baltic Sea is the title of the 11th International Small Graphic Form Competition from Poland, 2022.
I am honored to have my ex libris chosen for display at the prestigious exhibition associated with the event in Poland.
"Dreamy Me"
I curated an art event in 2022 in collaboration with two universities in Poland and Iran, aimed at both professional artists and students. The participants were tasked with creating illustrated postcards under the theme "Dreamy Me," encouraging them to depict their dreamlike selves. This theme offered a unique platform for the artists to express how they envision themselves, the way they love to be, or how they aspire to be in their most imaginative and dreamy interpretations.
"Futuristic Fossils"
"Futuristic Fossil" is the title of my series of paintings on stone, created on 2022 serving as a metaphor for envisaging the fossils of the future. This series artistically represents how animal fossils might appear after enduring the struggles imposed by pollution in their environments, blending the concept of ancient preservation with contemporary ecological concerns. I have dedicated this series to the Famagusta Walled City Association, an organization renowned for its extensive environmental activities.
"Rivers' Nowruz"
"Rivers' Nowruz" was the title of an exhibition in Tehran, Iran, celebrating Nowruz. Held at the Aseman Gallery in 2022, this exhibition featured works by many renowned artists, showcasing their unique interpretations and artistic contributions to the Nowruz festivities.
"Rock, Paper, Scissors"
In November 2021, I had the privilege of presenting my cartoons centered on children's rights in a solo exhibition at Rustem Bookshop and Art Gallery in Nicosia, Cyprus. Supported by the Cyprus Children's Right Association, the exhibition attracted numerous esteemed guests, including the President and First Lady of Cyprus, the Mayor of Nicosia, and many artists. The exhibition concluded with an auction, where all the artworks were sold, and the proceeds were shared with the Cyprus Children's Right Association.
2nd International Print Triennial in Cieszyn
I had the honor of being invited to serve as a juror for the 2nd International Print Triennial in Cieszyn, 2021 This prestigious competition comprised two sections: traditional print and digital print, showcasing a diverse range of printing techniques and artistic expressions.
"Conquest" Deadpan Photography
In 2021, my photograph was featured in an exhibition titled "Conquest," a Deadpan Photography exhibition held at Saba Gallery in Tehran.
"Covid O'Clock" Doodle Art
"Covid O'Clock," my doodle art creation, was crafted for the Semarang International Doodle Festival's Sidle Fest in Indonesia, 2021. This piece humorously portrays the challenges I encountered while conducting online classes during the pandemic. My doodle was shortlisted and featured in the festival's online exhibition.
"Fantasy Island"
Fantasy Island is the title of the 10th International Small Graphic Form Competition from Poland.
My ex libris achieved the third rank in this international event and was showcased at the exhibition in Poland.
Daily News Project
The Daily News project, an international collaborative art initiative in 2020, themed "East meets West," involved numerous universities from across the globe. Each participating institution exchanged newspapers with another university abroad, using these newspapers as the primary material for creating artworks. This exchange not only fostered artistic creativity but also promoted cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
Typography Poster Exhibition
I curated an international event for students from Eastern Mediterranean University and Palestine Technical University. The event involved students creating posters using typography in their own languages, centered on the theme of life. These posters were artistic representations of their personal experiences and emotions about life. The outcome was a collection of 30 posters, which were subsequently exhibited in both countries.
"Deja vu - Odessa"
Deja vu Odessa was an invitational international art project where selected artists were invited to create artworks related to the city of Odessa.
The exhibition was showcased in Ukraine and Poland, in 2019.
Stencil Graffiti Workshop
I organized a seminar and workshop led by a renowned Turkish artist for the students of Eastern Mediterranean University. In this workshop, students had the opportunity to create stencils under the guidance of the visiting artist. They then applied these stencils using spray paint on walls. This event was not only a joyful experience but also an educational opportunity for students to learn a new artistic technique.
Unusual Message, an invitational art project, featured a collaboration among 12 universities worldwide.
The exhibition of works was showcased in over 10 countries, including Poland, China, Cyprus, Kosovo, Mexico, and others.

Nicosia Abandoned Airport
Nicosia International Airport has been abandoned since 1974, a consequence of the conflict between the south and north of Cyprus.
An aircraft remains on the runway, a poignant symbol as it has never taken off again since then.
This poster was designed for an exhibition aptly titled "Abandoned".
Photo Ozay Photography Competition
My photograph was shortlisted in a yearly photography competition, earning the distinction of being displayed at the exhibition and featured in the competition's catalogue.
